Here you can find maps and road directions to get to Orgosolo from the main towns of Sardinia.
From Nuoro
There are two options to get to Orgosolo from the nearby town of Nuoro.
Option 1: Take the SS 389 towards Lanusei, and after 10 kilometres take the exit towards Mamoiada. Once you've entered the village of Mamoiada, follow the road signs and take the exit for Orgosolo. Keep driving for about 10 kilometres.
Option 2: Take the SS 389 and soon after the “Nuoro-Prato Sardo” tunnel, take the exit "Nuoro - Badu 'e carros". Drive along the ring road "circonvallazione sud" and go through the "Mughina" tunnel, which will take you to the SP 58. Follow the road directions towards Orgosolo and keep driving for about 18 kilometres.
From Olbia
Either you are leaving from the Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport or the Isola Bianca Harbour, follow the road directions towards the four-lane highway "Sassari-Nuoro". After 1 kilometre take the exit for Nuoro (you will find an overpass on your right) and keep going for about 100 kilometres in the “Olbia – Nuoro” four-lane highway.
Finally, take the exit for Nuoro and proceed along the SP 58 that leads to Orgosolo.
From Porto Torres
From the harbour of Porto Torres, follow the road signs towards the four-lane highway SS131 “Sassari-Nuoro”. Once you get near the town of Macomer, you will have to take the exit for a two-lane road towards Nuoro.
Follow the road signs and proceed on your left towards Nuoro (pay attention NOT to take "Nuoro Badu 'e carros"). After driving for a few kilometres in the four-lane highway, follow the directions for the SP58 towards Orgosolo.
From Alghero
From the Alghero-Fertilia Airport follow the directions towards Sassari. Once you get to the junction with the four-lane highway SS 131, take the exit towards Cagliari.
At the junction in Abbasanta, take the four-lane highway 131-bis towards Nuoro. After about 50 kilometres, you'll get to Nuoro. Take the exit for Nuoro and follow the road directions for SP58 that leads to Orgosolo.
From Cagliari
Take the four-lane highway SS 131 towards Sassari. At the junction in Abbasanta turn towards Nuoro, taking the 131bis highway.
After about 50 kilometres, you'll get to Nuoro. Take the exit for Nuoro and follow the road directions for SP58 that leads to Orgosolo.
